Tiltaloo for iOS · in effect from October 29, 2026
What the game keeps
Tiltaloo is a single-player puzzle about running a Ferris wheel on a night-time boardwalk. So that you can pick up where you left off, it saves your play as one record in the app's own local storage on your device. That record holds game information only, such as:
- the wheels you have cleared on the boardwalk map, with their Full Moon and Smooth Ride marks, and the helpers you have earned;
- your Taffy and the looks you have taken home from the Prize Booth;
- the pins on Pelham's jacket and your Closing Bell best ten in the Photo Booth;
- the numbers shown on the Ride Counter;
- which bulbs are screwed in at the Lamp House: Music, Sound effects, Haptics and Gentle Tilt.
None of this says who you are. The record is read and written by the game on your device and is never sent anywhere.
What it never does
Tiltaloo works entirely offline. It has no sign-in and no accounts, shows no advertising, and contains no analytics, tracking or third-party code of any kind. It sells nothing, so it handles no purchase details. It asks for no permissions, which means it never reaches your location, camera, microphone, photos or contacts, and it never asks for your name or email address.
How long it lasts
The saved record stays on your device for as long as Tiltaloo is installed. Deleting the app removes it, and with it every wheel, mark, pin and piece of Taffy. If you use your device's own backup feature, the operating system may include app data in that backup; that copy is handled by your device and its settings, not by the game.
Young players
Tiltaloo is a gentle, family-friendly game. Since it gathers no personal information from anyone, it gathers none from children.
